Surprisingly, less than 10% of the seven billion tonnes of plastic waste generated worldwide has been recycled, meaning that the remaining plastic debris will persist in the environment for millennia. In order to raise awareness of the real-world consequences of packaging waste on our beaches, we also organised a Beach Clean-Up Drive in Clifton, Karachi, with IBA students.

On March 26, 2025, we signed an MOU with the 240-bed multidisciplinary Evercare Hospital Lahore. The following services are eligible for a flat 15% discount for RPL workers and their immediate families (spouse and kids) under this agreement:

Partnering with Islamabad Diagnostic Centre:

On June 10, 2025, we signed an MOU with Islamabad Diagnostic Centre (IDC), one of the most reputable diagnostic service providers in Pakistan. This partnership offers subsidised diagnostic and imaging services to RPL workers and their immediate family members, including spouses, kids, and parents, at all IDC branches across the country, including those in Lahore and Islamabad. To avail these services, which are available on cash payment basis, employees need to present their RPL Employee Card or Referral Letter, along with relationship proof. The benefits include:

• Covid-19 and outsource tests charged at actual rates

Partnering with Niazi Hospital:

On May 25, 2023, we signed an MOU with Niazi Hospital, a reputable local medical centre. This arrangement provided RPL employees and their immediate families (spouse and children) with subsidised health services and free medical camps while it was in effect. She joined esteemed panelist such as Mr. Dr. Abid Qaiyum Suleri, SDPI Executive Director, Mr. Malik Amin Aslam Khan, former Minister of Climate Change, Mr. Zafar Masud, President The Bank of Punjab, and other notable leaders in sustainable agriculture. In addition to Roshan Packages Limited’s involvement in sustainable agriculture packaging and the importance of innovative technology in curbing food loss, she highlighted RPL’s initiatives to educate farmers and raise awareness about the proper packaging and transportation of fruits and vegetables as a means of reducing food loss.

Moreover she participated in a policy debate on Green Transition in South Asia, hosted by SDPI in collaboration with the World Bank. Addressing key issues from environmental pollution to the economic benefits of a Green Transition, our participation underscores our commitment to sustainable development.
